You'd almost think Howard Dean was running for President.
Speaking of Dean, and, well, since folks from France are foreigners (to me, anyway), here is interesting link about foreign campaign contributions to US candidates.

Moveon.org is also pursuing getting donations from outside US. So, frogs, are you sending your money to Dean?
That's a great idea. Getting Dean nominated as the democratic candidate would lock up a Bush victory. Bush hasn't been my favorite president, but I'd like to see him re-elected just to twist the panties of old Europe. Watching them fume and sputter and make predictions that don't come true has become one of my favorite pastimes, and they only seem to do it for republicans.
Marc, Steph, et al - Dean needs your money fast! He's dropped to second place in the Iowa polls! Hurry!
Hmmm.. i don't think that "French" money would help him to get some votes within the US, even contrary.
The only thing for wich I would give money, is a trip for Mr.Bush.
You know, such trip that would lead him to the moon , like last some tourists similarly did (they only reached the orbital station).
Of course, I would pay only for a single ticket. No return.
Marc, if my modest contribution can help to send Bush II a bit farther on Mars, I might think about it ;D
Hmm.. that'll take even more money that getting Dean nominated. Better start a PayPal account.
Hmmm. Perhaps it could be arranged to resettle Old Europe to Europa:

This could prove advantageous in several ways.
1. They wouldn't be challenged by a name change.
2. No Global Warming!
3. They would finally rule a whole planet and be free to establish a utopian paradise without inconveniencing the rest of us.
so, send Bush administration and fans here.
I was on the way to give one point to MB, but Max definetely deserves it more !
North American Nebula... Splendid !
"North American Nebula... Splendid !"
Ah, but you see I'm more than willing to have the American taxpayer (which includes me) to fully fund the relocation of Old Europe to Europa. After all, it's a win-win situation for Western civilization as a whole in the long term . On the other hand, at most Bush will be our president for another five years (unless by some divine intervention our constitution is amended to allow for more than two terms, but I am not hopeful). So I seriously doubt that a European initiative could even get past the discussion phase in said time period (given the fact that Europeans overwhelmingly prefer talking to doing).
" I'm an englishman, and for me everything that is not english simply does not exist."
-- A English soldier, during the French-Indian War,1756. (Read in Fort Chambly)
Seems that it applies still to American state of mind....
"Still" conveys the idea that a condition was true in the past, and continues to be. Since a condition where "everything not English does not exist" never applied to the American mind, and does not today, I think you meant "Seems it still does not apply to the American state of mind". It's ok, I know English is a weird language. I have no idea what you're getting at though.
All the same, I'll follow the theme to add that France, on the other hand, tries to legislatively impose a condition where everything not French does not exist. Seems you're all striving to be very English, if the chap you quote is to be considered representative.
Ah, but you see I'm more than willing to have the American taxpayer (which includes me) to fully fund the relocation of Old Europe to Europa.
I'd work an extra job, for a year or two anyway. It's not as if getting a free ride from America is breaking new ground for Europe anyway.
I think that, to be fair, what you really wish for is to send Bush to Mars on a European designed spacecraft, thus assuring that he will never return.
If you're going to cut & paste from marxist.com, do you have to paste the German version?

Actually, I think that there are some Native American groups whose claim to California predates its theft by the Pope for Spain.
