Dirty Jewanti-Semitism: And if it were everybody's business?
Meant to tamp anti-Semitism, this well-intentioned effort by the Union of Jewish Students of France (l'Union des étudiants juifs de France, or UEJF) may only incite French anti-Semites further.
The above ad will not dissuade a single Islamist, but then Islamists are not the intended target. The Rufin Report (Chantier Sur La Lutte Contre Le Racisme Et L'Antisemitisme) disclaims the fairy tale that French anti-Semitism is exclusive to a huddle of disaffected Islamists. In France anti-Semitism is pandemic, if subtle.
Beginning Tuesday Jesus will be joined by the Blessed Virgin Mary in French newspapers reminding French folk that anti-Semitism has no sanction in Chrisitianity. Bonne chance.
...and Jews don't like Muslims, Arabs, Islamists, Christians, blah, blah, blah...and Christians don't like Jews, Muslims, Islam, blah, blah, blah...and Muslims don't like Jews, Christians, blah, blah...so what? Religious fanatics don't like people who worship "other" gods! So what? They won't change. We won't change. Let's just kill everybody who doesn't believe the same thing I believe. I am a Jew, and I say all you gentiles can die now! You know what's so funny? We Jews have tricked gentiles into believing that any criticism of us Jews is hate-mongering, while we Jews can say whatever we please about all of you. Jews rule. Gentiles deserve what they get!
Mr. Paine, who claims to be a Jew, and can be reached at ya@right.com -- oh, except that's a phony address but a fair specimen of what passes for wit with Mr. Paine -- rants convincingly like an anti-Semite.
No surprise that we find him upset inthis thread.
It's a safe bet that he has never read his namesake's Common Sense or much else other than broadsheets from the Volksfront.
