Le Monde À L'Envers

Pave acts the scourge of France, but we are not the only scourge. We will try to be more attentive to drawing your attention to others who are struggling to understand what France has become or what she has always been, in any event what we are left to deal with.

And the above French-only blog is a good place to start. Here is a sampling:

Excuse our French-to-English:

I imagine few journalists can be suspected of sympathy toward the Islamic terrorists, but they play their part, like their seniors 40 years ago in the destabilization of a country, which could have the same results as then, and possibly worse. The decapitators, the bombers, the Islamic ideologues await only the departure of the US troops to quench their thirst for blood. Oh sure, if that happens it will then be a question of the abandonment of the Iraqis after an illegal war -- bastard Americans, who are wrong when they are there, wrong when they leave. Of course, there are plenty who'll claim that without the US intervention in Iraq there wouldn't've been the theater of massacres, forgetting rather quickly Saddam and his hundreds of thousands of deaths, his constant oppression, his constant wars, and his innumerable attempts to acquire and develop weapons of mass destruction.

Thanks. I'll try to post more items in english from now on. Anyway I don't think there are that many people in France willing to read what I write...
