Resistance Is Futile
And the French know it too well:
The world's biggest ski maker, French firm Skis Rossignol, agreed on Tuesday to be bought by U.S. surf clothes maker Quiksilver for 240 million euros as a restructuring threatened to push Rossignol into "heavy" loss.
Indeed, Rossignol is to become an American company.
This AFP press wire is emphasizing the likely loss of 132 jobs and not the fact that the French company will "post a 'heavy loss' for the 2004/2005 financial year". Well, what did you expect?

CommentsHere's a little read for zoomer. Remember that you heard this from this website a year ago at least, and that you have heard nothing to speak of from your "free French press".
