A Nice Person, Mother Of Two, Murdered For Being American

Je n'ai jamais connu Lizette Mendoza. Pourtant, je sais que vous et moi n'oublierons jamais le jour de sa mort.

I never knew Lizette Mendoza. Yet I know you and I will never forget the day she died.

Please go visit the Dissident Frogman and read his remembrance of Lizette Mendoza, a victim of the terrorist attacks on the WTC and a complete stranger. Ah. How does one remember a complete stranger? The Frogman offers a thoughtful meditation on anonymity and how tragedy randomly knits us up.

09.11 has knitted quite a few of us up.

We thank our French friend for his remembrance.
