09.11 Remembered Redux

1968-2001
A Nice Person, Mother Of Two, Murdered For Being American
Je n'ai jamais connu Lizette Mendoza. Pourtant, je sais que vous et moi n'oublierons jamais le jour de sa mort.I never knew Lizette Mendoza. Yet I know you and I will never forget the day she died.
Please go visit the Dissident Frogman and read his remembrance of Lizette Mendoza, a victim of the terrorist attacks on the WTC and a complete stranger. Ah. How does one remember a complete stranger? The Frogman offers a thoughtful meditation on anonymity and how tragedy randomly knits us up.
09.11 has knitted quite a few of us up.
We thank our French friend for his remembrance.
