PARIS 28 octobre 2006 (AP) - Six policiers ont été légèrement blessés et 25 personnes interpellées lors d'incidents dans la nuit de vendredi à samedi en France, annonce le ministère de l'Intérieur, qui parle d'une nuit "relativement calme".

Sur les 25 individus interpellés, 21 l'ont été en Ile-de-France, précise le ministère dans un communiqué.

Les principaux incidents ont eu lieu "en début de soirée et en début de nuit" au Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis), où deux bus ont été incendiés, à Reims (Marne), théâtre d'une tentative d'incendie de bus, et à Trappes (Yvelines), où des boules de pétanque ont été lancées sur un bus sans passagers, selon le ministère de l'Intérieur.

Par ailleurs, à Clichy-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis), à Meaux (Seine-et-Marne) et Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), "les pompiers et les policiers intervenant pour faire cesser des dégradations et des incendies de véhicules ont été pris à partie".

Six police officers were slightly wounded and 25 persons questioned during incidents the night of Friday to Saturday in France, the Interior ministry announced, speaking of a "relatively calm" night.

Out of the 25 individuals questioned, 21 were in the Ile-de-France, an official ministry statement specified.

The principal incidents took place "at the beginning of the evening and into the night" at Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis), where two buses were set on fire, Rheims (the Marne), scene of an attempted bus torching, and at Trappes (Yvelines), where boules [boules de pétanque = balls for lawn bowling] were thrown at a bus without passengers, according to the Interior ministry. In addition, in Clichy-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis), Meaux (Seine-et-Marne), and Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), "firemen and police officers intervened to stop the damaging and torching of vehicles".
