Le Parisien On Parisians
We are often accused of indulging in French stereotypes. It is true. We do. Stereotypes are a basic tool of mock in the mocking trade. But our worst mock is meek compared to :30 of self-mock from French mock masters.
Le Parisien has done a series of ads featuring stereotypes from among its readership. Unlike cute French insult pikers, these are brutal, which is to say very funny.

TRUE TO TYPE, TRUE TO LIFE
There's No Mistaking The French
Clockwise from top left.
- MERDE: Sharing the riches of Paris.
- SANISETTE: Government appointed toilets abound. Piss where you like.
- CARTE DE VISITE: Coupable mais non responsable.
- MISGUIDED: Paris drives the Japanese to extremity.
Also in this series, CUTSIES. Brutal.
