French correspondent Hérve sends along the below. This poster was dropped in the mailboxes of Seine-Saint-Denis, a department northeast of Paris, where a quarter to a third of the population is Muslim.

Top to bottom, the poster reads:

THEY ONLY BOTHER THOSE WHO DESERVE IT!

Under the police cap it reads:

Deliberately led into traps, forced "to bow" before youths still holding a Molotov cocktail in their hands (knowing that this lowlife will be set free the next day!), forced to watch youths break windows in the name of Allah, and then being accused of "brutality" because of a simple ID verification...

Followed by:

SUPPORT YOUR NATIONAL POLICE
before the inevitable civil war
and before...this!

Below which is a spoof of the government emblem with Marianne replaced by a mullah. This is labeled:

RÉPUBLIQUE ISLAMIQUE FRANÇAISE

This last bit tips us off that there is more to this than inspiriting civic support for the police.
